Ztella loves rope bondage for the intense, touching, and erotic connection that it can create, and she’s also obsessed with shibari as a craft. Based in Berlin, she offers regular study groups and weekend intensives and also teaches internationally at festivals, retreats, and conferences.

Her teaching style emphasizes adaptability and safety, opening space for creativity and connection. She believes that participants learn best in well-structured classes in which the specific skill sets of both riggers and models, and their dynamic together, are foregrounded. In her classes, participants are encouraged to explore the mechanics and logic—the why and how—of rope.

You can find her at www.ztella.de, @Ztella on FetLife or @ztellaropes on Instagram.

Moir is a Rigger, Dominatrix and performance artist; they discovered the world of kink and the art of tying around 4 years ago and immediately felt drawn to pursue the exploration of this world; now travelling internationally and sharing their passions across different scenes.

They have been consistently modelling for both beginner and advanced Shibari workshops, in which they focus on creating an atmosphere of care and understanding for each individual’s experience during ties.

Workshops

Sculpting the Chest

(Workshop level: L2-3)

The chest is central to creating supportive ties in shibari, but it’s also a sensitive area and for many people deeply tied to gender expression. In this workshop, we will teach a variety of methods for intentionally highlighting and accentuating or binding and flattening the chest with rope. Participants will learn decorative patterns that can be used independently or incorporated into existing harnesses, such as TKs, Tengus, and Strappados. The class will also cover practical tips and techniques for ensuring these harnesses are more secure, comfortable and sustainable.
This class is suitable for people with any amount of tissue on their chests and any gender identity. Maybe you always wanted to play with emphasizing or demphasizing this part of your body, maybe you’re just curious to try it once, or maybe you want to learn how to tie this way for others.

Prerequisites: Riggers should be able to tie a simple and sustainable upper body harness that leaves the chest free.

The Shinimal Fauxtomomo

(Workshop level: L2-3)

Futomomos are one of the most common lower body harnesses and a staple of countless shapes and ties. Yet they’re also a common foe, particularly for people with more sensitive shins. In this workshop we look at what causes shin pain and how to build futomomos that minimize pressure, covering a classic futomomo that’s quick to tie and suspend, as well as an alternative “fauxtomomo” that takes even more pressure off the shin bone.

Prerequisites: You should be able to quickly tie basic single and double column ties and, if you want to test out these futomomos in partial suspension, you must be able to safely manage and close uplines.

Scarf Bondage

(Workshop level: L1-3)

Scarves are everywhere. They’re soft, silky, and smooth against skin, and you can carry one in public or through an airport without anyone giving it a second thought. And compared to rope bondage, scarf bondage is both simpler and lower-risk; fabrics distribute pressure more evenly, reducing the risk of nerve and circulatory issues and making it a gentler type of restraint.
In this workshop, we’ll cover safety, different types of scarves and fabrics, and the essential applications of scarfs for bondage as well as breath, sensual and sensory play.

Prerequisites: No prior experience is required, open to all interested in trying out
scarf play.

Please Bring: We recommend bringing at least 3 scarves or pieces of fabric, though more is always welcome. Most second-hand and vintage shops have great options at low prices.

Deconstructed Mermaid

(Workshop level: L3)

A workshop which (as the title suggests) deconstructs this more classic tie in ways that allow for more transition, as well as backbends, but can also make the tie more sustainable for people that struggle in torsions.
