Lana Kan & Midori – Announcing presenters

Lana Kan is an international BDSM and rope instructor, delivering workshops in Berlin and Spain. She started her journey with rope in 2015 in Australia, as rigger, bottom and self-tying. Since moving to Spain she has studied kinbaku with many international rope professionals, but she is most influenced by her time learning with Akira Naka and Shizuki Iroha, Kasumi Hourai, Alexander Ma and Natasha NawaTaNeko, and Toronawa.

Midori started as a rope bottom in Italy in 2023. From the beginning she felt a strong interest in semenawa and emotional vulnerability in rope. She has attended Naka inspired workshops and lessons in Italy and Berlin; and delivered workshops in Spain and Berlin. She has been researching about personal development as a bottom, as expressed by Japanese forms of kinbaku. In addition to this, she is committed to create a community for rope bottoms that provide connection, knowledge and support.

Turning up the heat

Semenawa is often pictured as big flashy tortures, with hanging rocks off of backbends. When giving plenty, more than enough, we don´t need to throw a storm at our model: with small, subtle and deliberate techniques we can increase the intensity and challenge in an intentionally sadistic way.

What now?

In this workshop we will show you how to progressively build a scene with intention, flow and ease. If you´ve ever found yourself wondering what you should do next, how to open and set the scene, or how you can build a harness in a way that progresses the play and tension, this workshop is for you.

Basket Tie Suspension

(Workshop level: L3)

I have grown to love this tie a lot: it appeals deeply to the pervert in me, accentuating my models ass, thighs and feet; while still allowing a lot of play. There are many different suspension options, allowing me a lot of freedom during the scene. And as a rigger who is usually smaller than my models, I can lift my model high into many positions without difficulty.

Act of Devotion

(Workshop level: L1-3)

Submission is not just a feeling, it is an act. Semenawa creates space for the bottom to make an offering, to endure difficult positions and predicaments as an act of devotion and submission.
