Nëya & Kameko – Announcing presenters
Nëya
Rigger and model from Czech republic, who has been a part of the educators team of Prague-based Subspace studio since 2019. Nëya is interested in multiple styles, both from a technical and an aesthetic point of view. However, she likes improvising and using bamboo in her ties the most.
Even after years of being an educator, she still keeps in mind that there is always something to learn in shibari, and she actively learns not only in Czechia, but these days mostly abroad.
Apart from tying, Nëya also dedicates her time to making waxplay candles under her “Nëya Candles” brand and spreading awareness and understanding of polyamory, both within the shibari community and with the general public.

Kameko
Kameko has been doing shibari since 2015. She originally started as a model, but today she engages on both sides of the rope and focuses on self-tying (tying herself). She is known for her playfulness and unpredictability, and she likes to reflect the mood that her partner brings to the session. She actively educates herself in rope bottoming and shares her experiences in her workshops. Her main tying partner is Nëya.

Workshops
Improvised chest harness
(Workshop level: L2-3)
Would you like to learn how to tie your own chest harness? How to take care of the safety of our models as well as their unique preferences? This workshop will focus on how to tailor any hand positions (hands in front in different ways, hands free, hands behind the back and any combinations) for the purpose you desire (suspensions, direction of loading…).
Rope bottoming skills
(Workshop level: L2-3)
Bottoms have many different ways to express themselves as well as many different goals while being tied. Let’s talk about soft skills as well as hard skills that bottoms can learn and improve on over time. In this workshop bottoms will focus on how to learn about themselves and their bodies and how to communicate while being in ropes. All not just theory but also some hands on exercises so bring riggers with you.
Untying in the air
(Workshop level: L3)
Have you ever tried to untie some ropes in the air? What about even the whole harness? We will show you simple transitions that can be done with this “out of box” thinking that will provide you a new tool to your suspension experience.
Improvised partials
(Workshop level: L3)
Improvisation is a lot of fun, and partials bring another dimension to it. Let’s explore together a bit of out of box thinking and the excitement that it brings. A significant portion of this workshop will be dedicated to bottoms and their awareness of the risks as well as how to communicate them during the session without interrupting it. Mainly because riggers can not always fully calculate the risks in this style of tying and it needs some effort from both to make it work.
